    La Villa è ubicata ad alcuni chilometri da Piazza Armerina in provincia di Enna. Il sito è stato insignito quale Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Umanità bene UNESCO nel 1997. Edificata sopra un'altra abitazione, la Villa fu la dimora di un Senatore Romano in età tardo/imperiale. L'architettura e la ricchezza delle decorazioni mostrano il tratto distintivo della dimora di prestigio del IV secolo d.c.. Potrete scoprire gli appartamenti privati e le sale per le udienze pubbliche, anche le terme e la palestra. I mosaici policromi, che sono opera di maestranze africane, sono un Unicum sia per la bellezza, che per lo stato di conservazione.
