In territorio di Scicli, presso la frazione marinara di Sampieri sorge il Sito di archeologia industriale costruito nei primi anni del 1900, lo stabilimento del Pisciotto.

Produceva laterizi fino al 1924, quando per via di un devastante incendio, divenne un rudere.

Molto vicino al mare è stato edificato su una distesa di scogli, alla destra si trova una piccola spiaggia adatta alla balneazione, facilmente raggiungibile tramite una stradina di comunicazione.
